Every November I pick five dahlias I'd plant in my own garden without a second thought. This year's lineup covers everything a cutting garden needs: a showstopper, a bride's-bouquet white, a tidy little ball, a colour nobody else has, and a workhorse that never quits. You get one tuber of each.
Cafe au Lait – The one everyone wants, and for good reason. Huge 6"–8" dinner plate blooms in soft, creamy blush tones on an upright 48" plant. An excellent cut flower and the centrepiece of any arrangement.
Clearview Tammy – A pure white semi-cactus with big 6"–8" blooms on a 48" plant. Crisp, clean and elegant, it lights up the garden and makes any bouquet look polished.
Jowey Chantal – A classic ball dahlia with tight, perfectly formed 3"–4" orange blooms that warm to yellow at the centre. Long stems on a 48" plant make it a natural for cutting.
Bluetiful – A one-of-a-kind colour that sits somewhere between blue and purple. 4" blooms on a 46" plant that fills about a 2' x 2' space and flowers from mid-July until first frost.
Connell's Gloriosa – The workhorse of the cutting garden. Big 48" plants with 4"–6" blooms that just keep pumping out flowers from mid-July until first frost.
Five standout varieties, one pack, while supplies last.
