Supporting your dahlias (or any flower) will increase stem length and prevent them from being blown over with wind or rain. This netting is a vinyl product that can last many seasons. The squares are 6"x6" and the total width is 48". Length is 100 feet. For dahlias just install the netting over the bed at the height of your choice (depending on the approximate height of your plants). You can install right after you plant and allow your dahlias to grow through it. This versatile netting can also be used to support any other cut flower crop as well as create a grid on the bed while planting plugs or seeds. Use 2x2 wood posts or metal t-bar as support for the netting. You can zip tie the netting to the posts or tie it with string. You can easily cut it with a knife or scissors to fit your bed configuration.
